Death Note: One Last Shot

My first finished colored attempt at Mello, from Death Note.

Although I don't obsess with it as much as I do with YGO, I do enjoy Death Note for the intellectual, provacative aspect it offers about morality and justice. I also really really really enjoy watching Kenichi Matsuyama playing L. <3333333

Second to L, I think Mello is my favourite character, other than Matt. I think he showed some character development that was touching - growing a little from his prideful anger to actually seriously considering what was at risk rather than striving to beat Kira just to top Near. In this picture, I was trying to call it "One Last Shot", implying Mello's last chance at trying to get at Kira after the explosion, after most of everyone's plans for success got ruined and broken. I'm not sure if it translated onto paper properly though.

Anyways, suggestions, comments, and critiques are welcome! Since I'm new into drawing Death Note fanart and such, feedback is greatly appreciated, no matter in what format.
